Hello, my name is Michael Greco; I am a landscape architect, and nurseryman. I have been the owner of Mike Greco Landscaping, and Mill Creek Nursery for forty years.

I first created Mike Greco Landscaping to fulfill my dream of designing and creating beautiful gardens. I knew it was possible to transform someone’s garden. I saw how the completed project made people feel. While doing this, I discovered the need for quality plants at an affordable price – Mill Creek Nursery was born. This was the only solution to attending to every detail, while maintaining my personal high standard of growing specimen trees, and implementing them in one’s garden.

Your gardens are created with an on-site perspective drawing. Since I will be your single point of contact, I will oversee the installation of your gardens from beginning to end. Our new service of maintaining your designed gardens will be explained during the installation. We do it this way because every garden is different.

Our service offers coming out to our fields. Together we will walk to view and select locally grown plants for your gardens. I can tell you from experience – the excitement is now elevated!

Our designs become alive when our talented plantsman begin implementing your garden. Imagine sitting calmly in your favorite lounge chair on your new bluestone patio, hearing water trickling from your new pond, birds chirping in your flowering ornamentals and shrubs filled with fragrance. Now look up to the sky – your ceiling is the canopy of your new shade tree. We can do all of this for you. In addition we offer maintenance for your gardens, which can include planting of all your decorative pots throughout the year and includes on-site analysis of property which will be customized.

Hardscaping is an area where I can lead you from a room in your home to the outdoors, down a pathway, under an iron arbor filled with fragrant honeysuckle vines to a functioning and aesthetic appealing view of an elevated patio. The stone walls and large comfortable landings and steps moving you towards your patio can be surrounded with fragrant shrubs and perennials. A patio can be simply used for viewing the surrounding gardens.  If you like to entertain, we can establish a patio that can accommodate several people at a gathering. For our cooks: let’s create enough space for your outdoor grill, sink and refrigerator.   It is important to make it blend in with the surrounding gardens and the architecture of the home or buildings that we are framing. The ceiling of this outdoor room can be a large tree with a canopy that provides shadows onto your patio.  My staff of experienced stone masons along with my vision will create many years of continued enjoyment. I do prefer natural stone from the limestone steppers to the bluish-gray slate called bluestone. I like most quarry stone cut here in the United States. Natural stone brings out the calmness in one’s heart and soul along with the beauty of its colors, textures and shapes.  You will never want to leave your new garden.
